Murchison Falls National Park
From there you will drive Murchison Falls National Park which is known as the top destination for tourists due to the wonders in this park like rapid falls, 4 out of the big 5 animals etc. It is found in the western region of Uganda and covers districts like Masindi, Buliisa, Amuru, Pakwach, Kiryandongo and Nwoya. The park covers 3840 Sq. km and is the oldest national park in Uganda. This park is a home to 76 mammal species including 4 members of the big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo). You can also encounter Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Other animals to expect in this park include crocodiles, water bucks, giraffes, 18 Days Uganda Primates, warthogs, Uganda kobs, hartebeest, Hippos, Bushbucks, Oribis, hyenas and various bird species like black bee eater, rare shoebill stork, weavers, grey crowned cranes, Abyssinian ground hornbill, Black-headed lapwing, Red throated bee eater among others.
