Nyungwe National Park
From there, you will proceed to Nyungwe National Park which is Africa’s largest Afro- Montane forest. It is located in the South Western region of Rwanda and it borders Burundi. The park is famous for chimpanzee trekking and it has 2 habituated families, one having 60 chimpanzees and the other has 30 chimpanzees. The harbors 80 mammals like duikers, golden cats, duikers, Klipspringer, impalas, Bushbucks, Buffaloes, Elephants, Bush pigs, Gant forest hog, Blotched serval etc. Primates like Blue monkey, Golden monkeys, olive baboons, Red-tailed monkey, Vervet monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey etc.
