Ssese Islands

Ssese Islands, located on Lake Victoria, consist of 84 lush, tropical islands offering serene beaches and rich biodiversity. The islands are home to various bird species and playful monkeys, making it a haven for nature lovers. Popular activities include swimming, fishing, and boat tours around the islands, providing opportunities to witness stunning sunsets and vibrant local culture. Itinerary

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be welcomed by our driver guide. He will thereafter brief you about this 3 days Ssese Island and Lake Victoria tour and then go to Nakiwogo for ferry transfer to the island. The ferry will leave at 2pm and it usually takes 3 hours sailing on the water. You will then check in on our arrival for dinner, camp fire and overnight.
On this day, you will have early breakfast and then get ready to set off with fishermen for fishing tour. You will enjoy catching fish like tilapia after learning how it is done and thereafter return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. However, later in the afternoon, you will go for canoeing and a guided nature walk in Lutoboka central forest reserve at a hill top. You will also have a very beautiful view of the island and Lake Victoria as you enjoy a beautiful sunset and a perfect place for birding. You will thereafter return to your lodge for dinner, campfire and later have an overnight.
Lastly, you will have morning breakfast and get ready for a ferry transfer at 7 am. You will land in Nakiwogo and further be transferred by your guide to the airport or to your hotel of choice. This will then mark the end of your 3 Days Ssese Island & Lake Victoria Tour.
