8 Days Big Five Wildlife Adventure

This 8 Days Big Five Wildlife Adventure takes you to the three vibrant and fascinating national parks in Uganda. You will encounter Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, Murchison falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo national Park. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is just one-hour drive to Murchison falls national park the only home for rhinos in Uganda and you will track rhinos with a ranger guide. This tracking at a close range will be an exciting moment as your first sight of the big five. Safari destinations Murchison falls National Park The home of the most powerful waterfalls in the world and is rich in biodiversity. This park is a home to 76 mammal species including 4 members of the big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo). Other animals to expect in this park include crocodiles, water bucks, giraffes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, hartebeest, Hippos, Bushbucks, Oribis, hyenas and various bird species like black bee eater, rare shoebill stork, weavers, grey crowned cranes, Abyssinian ground hornbill, Black-headed lapwing, Red throated bee eater among others. Queen Elizabeth National Park You will then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park the 6th diverse national park in the world. It has beautiful features such as Kazinga Channel, Crater lakes, Savannah plains etc. On your mazing boat cruise, you will spot highest concentration of hippos along the Kazinga channel and other mammals and cats not forgetting the famous tree climbing lions.  There are more than 600 bird species like grey crowned cranes, Martial eagle, shoebill, African green pigeon, handsome francolin, Nubian wood pecker, swamp flycatcher, African skimmer etc. Lake Mburo National Park After Queen, you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park “whispers of the wild” and you will be able to sight the largest number of zebras in Uganda, the Park is one of the smallest parks in Uganda. It is a home to a variety of wildlife including Impalas, buffaloes, bush pig, topi, crocodiles, elands, buffalos, oribi, waterbuck, leopard etc. Bird species like African Fin foot, pied kingfisher, bare faced go away, Red faced barbet, Greater painted snipe, Blue breasted kingfisher, striped kingfisher etc.  Here you will relax and enjoy the scenery. The Park’s topography and vegetation are made of falling and raising hillsides, rocky outcrops, open and wooden grassland, rich acacia tree valleys, forests, bushes and thickets together with permanent and seasonal swamps along the shores of the Lakes.
